Are there refunds for bookings that are cancelled or rejected?

Every time you request a booking on Tally Workspace, tokens are immediately withdrawn from your account. Whether these tokens will be refunded depends on when and how the booking was cancelled.

 

If you cancel a booking before the venue confirms the booking

For our group spaces and some of our desks, the venue needs to confirm your booking manually (this usually takes a few minutes). If you cancel a booking request before the venue confirms it, you will receive a full refund of all the tokens you had used.

If you cancel a booking after the venue confirms the booking

Every confirmed booking on our site has a refund period during which you can receive a full refund if you cancel.

Refund periods vary between venues, but they always include a 2 hour grace period immediately after the booking is confirmed, during which you may receive a full refund in case you made the booking in error.

For information on when a booking needs to be cancelled for a full refund, check the "Booking confirmed" email you will have received.

If a venue rejects or cancels your booking

If your booking is rejected or the venue cancels your booking after confirming it, the tokens withdrawn from your account will be immediately returned to you. If you think that there should be more tokens in your account than there are, reach out to us on hello@tallyworkspace.com or our live chat and we will arrange a refund for you as soon as we can.

How do I get a refund for the money I spent on tokens?

If you don't think you're going to spend all of your tokens, we can return the money you spent on them to you. To do so, get in touch on hello@tallyworkspace.com or reach out on our live chat and we'll arrange this for you as soon as we can.

Can I get a partial refund if I cancel a booking after the refund period?

No, we do not offer partial refunds.

Can I reschedule my booking?

You can always request that a venue reschedules your booking by emailing hello@tallyworkspace.com. However, please be aware venues are under no obligation to accept any request for rescheduling and a booking may only be rescheduled one time.
